Happy Tails

Funding has been quite tight this year, but we endeavor to continue offering services as we can.  One recipient of help over the last month is Woodzy and his person, Steven.

Steven, who is homeless, had to undergo neck surgery and needed help caring for his best friend, who was adopted a couple of years ago from the Humane Society.  Thanks to Kristen Schlink and her family who signed on as fosters specifically for Woodzy, he has been safe and sound.  Fortunately for Steven, the convalescent hospital he will recover in, has agreed to let him have his rabbit on-site.

Director's Notes

With September right around the corner and it being National Disaster Preparedness Month, now is a good time to review your own level of preparedness.

If you had to evacuate for any reason, do you have a "to-go" bag for your pets?  Do you know where you would go with them if you couldn't stay with friends?

As Always, Thanks to our Supporters!
We wish to show our appreciation to the individuals, companies, and foundations that support our focus on Helping Pets and Their People Stay Together!

Thank you for keeping
pets and their people together.
