Happy Tails

These three little kittens didn't lose their mittens, but lost their home instead. Mea, Esme, and Phoebe are
staying with us while disabled veteran mom, Annette, struggles to find affordable housing.

As those of us living in the Colorado Springs area know, housing is tight and going up in price, creating more people in need of emergency foster care services. All these girls want is a nibble, some scratches and a safe place to live with their mom!

Director's Notes

Social media is full of postings regarding

summer safety rules for pets including not leaving them in cars. That would seem like a no-brainer, but just recently, I was at the post office and parked next to a vehicle with a small dog inside. Both of the windows were rolled down part way, but the sun was shining right on the car, making it far too hot for a small animal.
